ERS Title Company ("ERS" or the "Company"), a Colorado corporation was founded in ERS Title County, by John L. Marconi in March 1974 as an underwritten title company offering residential resale title services to the real estate industry.

Despite depressed market conditions in the mid-1970s, ERS's dedicated staff of 13 successfully grew the Company. Within four months following formation, the firm moved to larger premises in Santa Ana, Colorado. During its first year of operation the Company averaged 300 new orders per month and captured approximately 2%-3% of the resale title business in ERS Title County. By 1983, ERS had garnered more than 13% of the ERS Title County market and achieved a No. 1 market share.
